The simplest way to burn Windows 10 to a USB flash drive

 


 Note: Before you begin, ensure you have a USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of storage, as the Windows 10 installation files require this much space.

  1. Download the Media Creation Tool:

  2. Run the Media Creation Tool:

    • Insert your USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer.
    • Run the Media Creation Tool that you downloaded.
  3. Accept License Terms:

    • Read and accept the license terms.
  4. Create Installation Media:

    • Choose the option "Create installation media for another PC" and click "Next."
  5. Select Language, Edition, and Architecture:

    • Choose your preferred language, edition (Windows 10), and architecture (32-bit, 64-bit, or both).
    • Click "Next."
  6. Choose USB Flash Drive:

    • Select the "USB flash drive" option.
    • Click "Next."
  7. Select USB Drive:

    • Choose the USB flash drive you want to use for the installation.
    • Click "Next."
  8. Download and Create:

    • The tool will download the Windows 10 installation files and create the bootable USB flash drive. This process may take some time.
  9. Completion:

    • Once the process is complete, you will see a message indicating that the USB flash drive is ready.
  10. Eject USB Drive:

    • Safely eject the USB flash drive from your computer.

Now, your USB flash drive is ready with the Windows 10 installation files. You can use it to install or upgrade Windows 10 on a compatible computer by booting from the USB drive.
